Are my Thumbs up or Down? : 2012
You're spending Saturday morning breakfast with your family. You made pancakes, eggs, some bacon, and are just about to pour your orange juice when it happens. The ground starts to shake, the lamp on the table falls over, the shaking increases you get under the table and shield your family. The roof begins to collapse, your house is falling apart all around you. Suddenly your ex husbands comes in the front door yelling at you to get in the car.
Your ex drives you to the Santa Monica airport with the world literally falling apart. Huge skyscrapers fall the freeway is destroyed and the ground is falling into the ocean. Sound pretty intense well that is a cake walk compared to the destruction shown in the Roland Emmirichs new earth destruction movie "2012".
This film is a wild ride from beginning to end. With creative justification as to why the world is coming to an end. Emmirich takes on you on a journey worth watching more than once. The visual effects of this film are stunning. All though the film is completely driven by the effects with very week story this film is a movie to turn off your brain and get taken away on a journey.
So my thumbs are.........UP for "2012"
Go see this movie but don't go if you want relax this film can be a little stressful. ENJOY!

Ever Wonder What Chickens Do When You're Not Looking
In honor of todays Movie Trivias da Illest this blooper if from "Jurassic Park".
This one you may have to watch in slow motion to catch.
When Dr. Grant and the kids are hiding behind the fallen tree running from the Gallimimus the T-Rex comes out from behind the trees and eats one of the little Dinos. Watch the one the that gets eaten. Right before it meats its maker it jumps through the neck of the T-Rex! There is a slight mistake in the Computer Animation.
If only dinosaurs could actually have jumped through their predators they might have stood more of a chance!

Are my Thumbs up or Down? : A Christmas Carol
What an adventure this film is. I saw it last night in IMAX 3D the best way to see this film. Walt Disney and Image Movers Digital have taken animation to a whole new level with this film. The classic Christmas tail re-told in only the way Robert Zemeckis could have told it. It was a beautiful array of color sound and originality.
A little slow to start but, once Scrooge is visited by Marley it is non- stop from there. I also recommend that you do not take kids under 9 or 10 to this film. It had quite a few adult themes and the Ghosts of Marley and Christmas yet to come will definitely leave young children buried in the arms of their parents.
This film is the perfect film to kick off the Christmas season. It leaves the viewer walking out of the theater with that warmth that only Christmas can bring.
So my Thumbs are................UP for A Christmas Carol!
Go get lost in Christmas once again!
Look for Thumbs up or down for "2012" next!

Are my Thumbs up or Down? Zombieland
Rule Number 2: The Double Tap!
There were scenes in this film that had me holding myself in my chair because I was laughing so hard. It was typical in the sense of a zombie apocalypse film and story but, the way they told the survival aspect was pretty original.
There was nothing spectacular about the acting nothing amazing in the camera style but just the over all feel of the film you could tell the cast and crew had a very fun time making this movie. I recommend this film to anyone who wants to laugh extremely hard but, those that have a week stomach stay away.
Zombeland is Rated R for Horror Violence/Gore and Language
It's honestly not that bad and the comedy aspect of the film more than makes up for whatever violence is thrown your way.
So My THUMBS are ................UP for Zombieland!
Go see it take a friend cause that makes the experience a million times more enjoyable!
Oh an one more thing there is one of the greatest cameos in film history in this movie!!

It's Back!!
Well hello there ladies and gentlemen.
About 4 years ago I started an online blog that lasted approximately 2 months (give or a take). It was filled with stories from my day to day life and past experiences. It also had film reviews and daily trivia with the occasional homage a to a filmmaker or actor/actress if it was their birthday.
That blog was called Future Filmmaker. Well I bring it back new and improved and ready for another run. Future Filmmaker 2.0 will have all the elements of Filmmaker 1 and some new surprises I have up my sleeve. Well everyone I hope you enjoy my new blog .

Ever Wonder What Chickens Do When You're Not Looking
You ever catch a blooper in a film. Well I do all the time. That's what "Ever Wonder What Chickens Do When You're Not Looking" is here for. Every couple of days or everyday or once in while (however ofter I feel like it) I will post a blooper to look out for in a popular film. One that you may have all ready caught one that you may have never scene before.
So here you go:
In Gladiator towards the beginning of the film after the first major battle there is a scene in which Maximus (Russell Crowe) goes to take care of his horse. While petting the horse in between his hand and the chest of the horse look under the neck. You will see in the back ground a man walking with a power cord in jeans and a t-shirt. Modern technology in 180 A.D. Rome no wonder they were the worlds super power back then.

The Amazing Weekend!
This past weekend was as the title states amazing! It started with an enjoyable Friday evening with my aunt, uncle, cousin and his wife. We went to a rather delectable Indian restaurant in downtown Denver. We laughed we joked and we even discussed how I should start on online blog. After the awesome dinner I came back home and went to bed. I had to get up early seeing as how I was going to the Colorado University/ Texas A&M football game.
I got up at 5am took my shower, dressed, got in my car, and drove to meet one of my best friends and his dad to go tailgating before the game. We had a blast we ate breakfast burritos, tossed the football, drank some beer, talked about who was going to win the game all the usual stuff surrounding a tail gate. The game started at 11:30am the tension built and C.U. came out victorious!! A 35-34 win over the A&M with some last minute plays that would have any spectator on their feet. Saturday night ended with a bang. I saw on old friend that I hadn't seen in months. It was great to catch up with him!
Sunday started like any other Sunday. Church in the morning and going over to a friends house to watch some football. However, Sundays ending was one for the record books. Woody's Pizza in Golden, CO to watch the Cowboys take on the Eagles in an NFC east showdown. Also trivia at Woody's. Well the pizza was delicious the trivia was fun seeing as how we came in fourth out of 21 teams but the best part the 20-16 win the Cowboys had over the Eagles!!!!
Well that was my weekend in a nut shell. More fun stuff happened but I figure you wouldn't have to read a post much longer than this one.
